Wong Kar-Wai's In The Mood For Love left me sorta stunned. Mainly because I watched the entire thing and still have no idea what the fuck happened in the movie. Though, the cinemaphotograpy was amazing. I think possibly the best I have ever seen mainly because the richness of the colors and the sharp style of editing are ridiculous. I would definitely say though that he is one of the greatest directors in contemporary cinema. I just hope to understand him.
It is an understated and eloquent examination of unrequited love between two people. I hope this helps.
