My weekend was relaxing but exciting and different. I am honestly happy to say that I felt satisfied for once over the weekend. Having no drama or sticky shitty situations was refreshing. Anyways, I had some great conversation with Tom about various things in life (friends, relationships, our relationship, art, traveling, etc) but mostly we got drunk over peking duck and green coconut pho followed by some good quality time with the OC on high definition. Saturday I woke to nothing but a movie and some mall shopping followed by meeting up with some friends (and their friends) to go to Top of the Hub (a bar in the Prudential Building, the second tallest in Boston) which was surprisingly fabulous and fun followed by some weird yet hysterically amusing party in Bay Village. Traveling alone (or with the non-typical circle since I wasn't alone per se) allows you much more the chance to meet people. Not that I went home with anyone but it was a good time nonetheless. Sunday was spent flipping out about my DVD, brunch, and then some powernapping before some more nothing but time well spent with myself.
There is some big news though. I am currently working hard on achieving a new job (more money, more benefits, options, and a fun enviroment). I am also going to Rio de Janeiro sometime next fall-winter. Not thinking Carnival but maybe. (Europe is just so old news, haha) And we all know my OBSESSION with Brazilians so it is perfect :)
And !!! I bought this new XBox game called Fable but more to come about that soon.
