The restaurant Borgo San Jacopo in the Hotel Lungano in Firenze is supposed to be superb. Granted it isn't a three-star Michelin restaurant but the overall design/food concept for it is amazing. These are some pics of the hotel entrance and then the roof area where the restaurant is. I picked up a Bon Appetite because it had a special issue dedicated to just Italy which is where I found this info along with a bunch of other awesome stuff. And since I am in love with all things Italian along with knowing a good handful of people going to Italy, I felt the excitement of Italy but without the ability to go. (but hey, at least my "boyfriend" (and by that I mean we are seriously dating but without the label) is bringing some some boy with him to the middle of nowhere Tuscany!) that last bit is unfortunately true. sigh.
