Beckham's new cologne

David Beckham's cologne is due out in stores soon.  And the photo of him above has left me slightly confused on what to think of him in 2005.  I have to admit that I thought he was hot as hell two years ago.  I bought his bio.  I had a poster.  etc etc.  Now, I am just a little weirded out by his craze for metrosexualness and his overtly pink or black painted finger nails. 

I think Andy's comparison of the David ad to British portraiture is pretty fucking hysterical and absolutely dead on.  Here is his comparison painting photo:

We couldn't agree more about Davids identitt crisis. I mean really...the nails...is that a Victoria thing or what...
Love the comparison with the painting. Look at our Barbara Bush story...there is a similarity there...
