Tonight I watched A Lot Like Love which was some cheesy teenager lover story straight from Hollywood starring Ashton Kutcher and some chick (you should notice in this review, what I noticed in the movie, lol). Ashton is absolutely dreamy. He is OMG cute, quirky, witty, adorable, huggable, fuckable, funny, and well, cuddly. I basically thought that the entire movie
which pretty much overshadowed the rest of it like the love story which was barely believable because well... it was made in Hollywood, lol. I wish love was as easy as they make it seem. Anyways, it was cute, I guess. I rented it for two reasons, 1. Ashton and 2. NYC, haha. The whole beginning of the movie takes place with him strolling through some neighborhood or another. Again, dreamy. Other than that the story is about him hooking up on a plane with this chick and then 10 years later marrying her after some neither here nor
there love story. haha. rent it only if you feel the need for the cheesy teenager drooling session over Ashton.
Monday night I watched Young Gods. Check out the trailer there, as well. It was my first ever movie I have seen from Finland and I have to say I am pretty intrigued on what else comes out of the country for film. The movie was some random indie thing that came up on Netflix.com. It starred some random actors (two were really cute), had lots of intense sex scenes, lots of nudity, lots of fucked up material being
discussed and was overall pretty good (better than the Ashton movie, sadly). It is about some teenage boys who go a little far in filming their sexual exploits. Needless to say, with just that sentence you should be able to see where this movie heads.
I also finished ALIAS today. I know this sounds like "big deal?" but it turns out that I have been watching this series for the last 2 years, intensely. I went through 4 seasons entirely, haha. I have caught up to the fifth season which is not on DVD yet and now have some mini crisis about which TV series to get caught up in. I do have to say that the third season blew chunks and the fourth was slow to start but ended in such a way that I actually JUMPED on the couch, lol. Seriously. The ending, the car crash, is OMG. OMG! Only though OC has me equally as addicted.
