Mmmm.... I have been craving a hamburger for like weeks. Not some shitty piece of "meat' from Burger King or the like, but one freshly cooked on a grill and I got it. That thick piece of meat I have been hoping for, lol. After countless hours baking in the sun and enjoying the views of Boston, running through cold water showers (even though the temp was 95 today, the water is ice), I got my weeks craving, and some Brahma (Brasilian beer perfect for a hot day). And a tan, just in time for NYC Pride and Alegria. I also started reading the new book I recently picked up called Death in Brazil which so far is awesome...
I had to work Saturday night, my last art opening in the forseeable future, but afterwards I headed to see Nacho Libre. Jack Black has never been my thing but I was in the mood for stupid comedy and I have to say that the movie was definitely entertaining, and he is actually pretty funny. I definitely laughed out loud at times but mainly at his sidekick Latin friend. He is pretty much made the brunt of many very "wrong" jokes but it was all in midly good taste, lol. Surprisingly the theater wasn't ridiculously out of control.
The other exciting news for the weekend, it felt like a big one for some reason, was that I picked up a Nikon 7mpixel camera that is about the size of a credit card. It is mega hot and mega needed since my old Elph was getting old and is nearly 3mp and since I am about to take a trip to NYC for Pride, Florida for 4th of July, and then apt hunt, I thought a very small handy hot cam was needed. It was on sale and will provide many more pics of my life, like the nice one of the hamburger above. Mmm.. haha!
damn! thats a big thick piece of meat!!! can u take a pic of your camera? i wanna see it :) hugs
