S.O.S by Rhianna is all I can say. The Chris Cox mix. Christ! It was hot hearing it about 4K times one weekend but now that the end of the month is coming to a close, I am nearly over it.
Be Without You by Mary J. Blige and Make a Move on Me by Joey Negro. Again.. I am feeling the cheesy house pop music this month. Also Ministry of Sound selections. Summer does that to me, as does Pride. And since it has been a month of Pride and sorta summer-like weather, these last two or three songs aren't surprising.
The Artic Monkeys cd Whatever People Say I Am Thats What I'm Not is totally rocking. I love their accents. I love the beat. I love the anger.
Cafe Con Alegria by Tony Moran. I had all Alegria cd's before I went to Alegria but hearing "Waiting for Alegria" while you are underneath the Alegria globe changes your mind on the entire thing. This song is a newer better mix of it all and it is super hot. They played it .... haha, I think.
Because I am leaving Boston and my friends are leaving me for other places, it is all a little emotional lately. Though my emotional breakdown hasn't fully hit me yet, but it nearly did when I heard Donna Summer's Last Dance at Pride which made me feel all warm and soft inside (haha) and so I ran home and days later downloaded the original and a remix. It turns out that it was the second to last dance song for the night but you know...
are you moving down here to florida? are we still getting married?

i love that song even though im an indie neo-folk whore :) anyhow i'm also madly in love with mary j blige and macy gray (lol, i know). the artic monkeys i never really paid attention to because i used to work at a music store and all the middle school kids were buying their cd, then i read it was over-rated goodness, yet i dont know much about them other than the fact the spin compared it to the beatles' white album. happy 4th :)

SOS needs a break. I can't go anywhere without hearing it. Clubs, tanning, the car... Be without you is getting pretty old too... They WERE good songs to start though. And i do like the alegria song a lot.
